Philadelphia, PA · 2021–2024

We saved you a seat.

Hope Philly was a church plant in Philadelphia — a community that gathered around Jesus, around the table, and around one another. We closed our doors in 2024, but what God did here endures.

Who We Were

“A small community of believers committed to making Jesus known in Philadelphia — through worship, friendship, and a seat at the table for everyone.”

Hope Philly was planted in 2021 by Pastor Joe, alongside Mike and Megan, with a handful of families who believed Philadelphia needed a church built on genuine community. We met in living rooms, coffee shops, and rented spaces — always making room for one more.

What Continues

The Work Goes On

Though Hope Philly has closed, the people, the ministries, and the mission continue in new forms.

Outward Bound

Many of our members have joined other Philadelphia churches, bringing the culture of warmth and invitation that defined Hope Philly.

Women’s Bible Study

The women’s Bible study continues to meet, rooted in the same friendships and hunger for scripture that began in our living rooms.

Young Adults

The young adults community has continued gathering, mentoring one another, and pursuing the city with the gospel.

Thank You for Being Here

Hope Philly existed because people showed up — week after week, for each other, for the city, for Jesus. We are grateful for every moment, every meal, and every life changed. The story is not over. It is just continuing somewhere else.
